The Village Idiot Strikes Gold

With all the success that Bill O’Reilly has achieved, one would think the king of cable news must be reporting a message that the public frantically loves. Well, it seems style - once again - wins out over substance. The only talking points you need to remember is that a “No Spin Zone” doesn’t mean it has no filters. When Fox News broke the mold and zoomed in on the rage of a modern day Joe Pyne, the viewer got a nightly fix most needed. O’Reilly was not a new boy on the block. Ever since his hosting of  "Inside Edition", he had a popular following. But his “Factor” has a format that cuts through the clutter, with all the ease of melting butter parting ways, with his sharp tongue skirmishes with guests. Any junkie addicted to the program knows when Bill doesn’t host, the spectacle falters. A tight focus and investigated reports often strike a direct hit. So what is the problem with dear old Bill?
