Localism for a Free Republic

Lew Rockwell asked the following question: “What do you do with a state – a highly centralized and militarized state – that has unconstrained hegemonic ambitions and is a proven threat to its citizens and other nations around the world?”  No doubt the consequences of internationalism make up the bulk of the daily news cycle.  But how many ordinary people really care what transpires in every remote corner of the world!  Most average citizens are struggling to get through another torturous day and keep their head above water.

Pre-emption and Unilateralism

Foreign policy affects everyone, but few concern themselves with the details. The “Big Picture” is ignored for the fallacy of immediate gratification. Instant satisfaction defies enduring security. The trap that most citizens fall into, is that the subject is just too complex to bother with, what can one person do? The experts know best, they will protect us! If this mindset is realistic, why is the world such a political mess?  But more to the point, why does the United States have so many antagonists, devoted to restraining a suspect super power?

The Drunk Never Knows When To Leave The Bar

The ABA is one of the most patrician interest groups to wheel power and influence. The nature of the this pressure group, is to bake their own cake and dish is out to their own. Like an inbred family where only first cousins marry each other, this group of charlatans scheme day and night to write, shape, mold and lobby the bills that will be placed into law. No wonder that their sense of privilege dictates that they are the enlighten class to pass judgment on who is acceptable to serve on the bench. Well, this band of merry men and women have suffered an insult that few would dare to offend such an esteem council.

Feminists Serve Secular Humanism

Who can deny that much of the current condition of Western Society can be attributed to the secular perspective of popular culture? Most of the extreme changes in the last hundred year have been asserted under the argument of equality for all. The mantra of the secular relativism, as expressed in the Humanist Manifesto I, rest upon the central tenet  - Religious humanists regard the universe as self-existing and not created.

Shadow Forces Behind Government

Let no man or woman dare speak of a shadow government. The crony corruptocrats that make up the ruling elites of the world must maintain the illusion, that elected governments are based upon willful consent and have the legitimate authority to establish rules of conduct that their citizen are obligated to obey. For those regimes that maintain their grip of power by undemocratic means, the apologists for the international community give a wide berth of acceptance in order to maintain the appearance of individual national sovereignty.

New Heights of No Confidence in Government

The legislature is at a record disapproval as Gallup announced that Congress had reached a new low, winning the approval of just 9% of the American public. In addition, President Obama is in the same boat. A Christian Science Monitor reports that Obama disapproval rating hits new high in two polls. "An NBC News/Wall Street Journal survey found that 54 percent of respondents did not approve of the job President Obama is doing, and Quinnipiac found 57 percent disapproval." Both branches of federal government register public discontent.

Defending National Sovereignty from the NWO

In a world that is virtually unrecognizable from the universal principles that underpinned Western Civilization, the fundamental concept of national sovereignty is being attacked as a relic of a former age. The New World Order is designed to eliminate the self-government of sovereign nations. While individuals live under the domain of established states, the fact that specific regimes operate within and often under the auspices of international hegemony that routinely violates the independence of specific countries is undeniable. The “world community” is not a voluntary association of collaborating governments; it is a euphemism of a top down despotic authoritarian system for global control and punishment for uncooperative governments.

"Neoliberal" Globalisation

How different the world looks depending where you live and the culture that shapes your thinking. Attitudes from the Third World are not the most popular topic or dynamic input for global policy makers. Nevertheless, there is a growing reproach in the value of the doctrine of globalism, coming out of the subcontinent. If you haven’t been living under a rock, you know that the hottest transfer of service related jobs is taking place. Transferring functions to India is supposed to be good business - enhancing total return - for the competitively minded corporations.

How to Rehabilitate the UN

It has been established that the UN is not only irrelevant but terminal; however, that won’t prevent an attempt to resurrect it from the dead. Kofi A. Annan, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, has proven to be a disaster. He has demonstrated that under his tenure, the organization serves no useful function. The absence of any recognizable leadership is evident for all the world to see. So what is the alternative?

Honor the Memory of THE Patriot

The soul of the American Revolution was George Washington, but the spirit was Patrick Henry. We all know the greatness of our First President, but have you read the speech that set the tone of our struggle for Liberty from this other Virginian? Each year we honor those who have fallen in defense of our country. But do we fully appreciate the essence of what our bravest patriots fought and died to create? The words of Patrick Henry ring true today, just as they did during his life. Read the entire speech and tell me if the struggle is any different today? Patrick Henry spoke these words on March 23, 1775 and says more about America than all the writing of those of us who revere the purpose of our vision as a Nation.

A Country of Nihilist Oligarchs

You live in a society of malcontents ruled by a system of authoritarians. The conflict between unrealistic expectations and the raw force used to compel compliance is growing more intense. Only the walking dead are happy. Any thinking and intelligent person knows that the political hierarchy has lost its legitimacy. The result of the Curse of Multiculturalism has created a mentality malaise that chewed up our institutions, denigrated our social values and produced a progressive asylum of sick and disturbed free loaders. All the while the entrenched political class sucks the life blood from the average citizen, while lining their own pockets with public funds.

The Future of the Conservative Movement

Decades of despair and a constant descent into oblivion are the only tangible legacy of the American Empire. The vast majority are disenfranchised from any meaningful levels of power or decision-making. Elites or all stripes and ideologies share a fundamental bond of desire; namely, control of the herds for the benefit of the few. Conservatism has lost its way. Bedrock principles have been betrayed. Natural rights are relegated to the burial crypt. Moreover, phony cryptic Judas’ make themselves out as patriots. They speak the "PC" rhetoric and claim to be traditionalist, while they dig the hole deeper to bury the meaning of the American Revolution.

Hobby Lobby and the Supreme Court

For a country founded upon the purpose of establishing religious freedom, the state worship establishment deems that their Supreme Court tribunal will announce its papal bull in the lawsuit, Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc.

The SCOTUSblog explains the Issue: Whether the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 (RFRA), 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000bb et seq., which provides that the government "shall not substantially burden a person’s exercise of religion" unless that burden is the least restrictive means to further a compelling governmental interest, allows a for-profit corporation to deny its employees the health coverage of contraceptives to which the employees are otherwise entitled by federal law, based on the religious objections of the corporation’s owners.

The Real Threat to National Security

Is the threat from foreign terrorists the undertaking of homeland insecurity?  The preoccupation since 911 with a self-serving “War of Terror” has been masked under the appearance of national security.  Tracking down targeted Jihad terrorists and waging regional search and destroy missions has become the growth industry of the new millennium.  The rationale and justification for such a protracted conflict rests upon a cowardly attack on American soil.  If you listen to the official version of events anyone who questions the validity of blaming Islamic Fascists must be unpatriotic.

Taxes, Death and Certainty

Each season when spring approaches, attention turns to the ritual of filling out tax forms.  All year long paying taxes is an integral part of the daily regiment.  But when it comes time to sign your permission slip for legalized thievery, your submission to indentured servitude goes public.  By becoming just another number in the long line of digital compliance under the penalty of perjury, the average citizen is performing his or her financial obligation to the State.  At least that is what you are told is your duty.

Which War Will Be Waged?

As the world sinks into a black hole of financial market uncertainty, business continues as usual for the New World Order. The Pentagon in a long-delayed annual report to Congress, warns that the Chinese threat for both Taiwan and the United States has increased. "China's doctrine is moving toward the goal of surprise, deception and shock effect in the opening phase of a campaign," said the annual report on Chinese military power. "China is exploring coercive strategies designed to bring Taipei to terms quickly."

Condemn Islamic Terror and Shield Zionist Atrocities

Surviving in a world of offensive double standards comes easy for people who lost their moral compass. Most culturally deficient pawns have such limited intellectual capacities and ethical fortitude to apply the same critical standards to zealots, who practice and defend barbarism no matter where it is committed. The narration that masquerades as objective news reporting out of the mass media, acts as a gatekeeper to provide political cover for Zionist protection. If the eternal struggle between Muslims and Jews was the supreme existential conflict, why would Christians take sides, when the purported feud between cousins, drips blood no matter whose hand holds the sword?

Playing the Lyre of Budget Madness as the Empire Burns

By Washington DC standards the just concluded budget agreement for funding the federal government through September, is a big win for Republicans. Emily Miller in Human Events describes, "The final agreement will be for $38.5 billion in cuts from current spending over the remaining six months of the current fiscal year, which ends on Sept. 30. The spending cuts, although historic in size, account for only 2.5% of this year's projected budget deficit of $1.6 trillion." Here lies the obscenity of the central government; namely, that a mere drop in the bucket reduction in a historic deficit is lauded as the great achievement of compromised negotiations.

Why Civil Liberties are No Longer Defended?

When looking back from the perspective of the 1800’s America, the experience in the 20th and certainly the 21th centuries, has been a consistent and total repudiation of the underpinnings of civil liberties. With the widespread rejection of natural law, the secular humanism of the worldly culture has replaced the time tested and well-grounded principles that are the basis of Western Civilization. The sacredness of the individual has withered to the winds and drifts of arbitrary circumstance. Relative significance has replaced timeless permanence. Civil Liberties are not temporary or discretionary. Society cannot exist as an educated and respectful union among variegated parts, when the sanctity of personhood is not respected and protected.

All's well with Afghanistan opium trade

Business is booming! "Two years after the ousting of the Taliban regime, which had cracked down ruthlessly on the cultivation of opium, production of the substance last year hit 3,600 tones, up 6 per cent over the previous year, and surveys of farmers show a further increase is likely this year." This war against terrorists is great for the drug trade. See any pattern when troops are garrisoned? The protection racket just runs their traffic with more efficiency.
