Falling off the cliff is more like descending into the abyss of martial law contrived to eliminate the last remnants of independent citizens. The insurance companies stand to reap tribute from the masses, while the special interest friends of the Obama syndicate get exemptions. Ignoring Whistleblowers

A government whistleblower, disclosing classified secrets, risks criminal charges. Defining restricted material usually includes a broad scope of information that casts officials or agencies in a compromising embarrassment. The idea that public servants may be engaged in violating laws is no excuse for blowing the whistle on such abuses if it involves "National Security". This protect the state attitude at all cost argument, is the very definition of institutional cover-up. In war, truth is the first casualty, so said Aeschylus.

Nothing to Fear - All is Perfect!

Successive generations are familiar with the FDR era slogan “Nothing to Fear but Fear Itself”, but how many are aware that ‘All is Perfect’ in this new age of health, wealth and progress?  Those who peddle apprehension are often damned for negativism.  While proponents of “have a wonderful day” and a brighter future, are seldom condemned for being unrealistic.  The cultural bias is rooted in a false optimism.  Facts, reality and veracity take a back seat to idealism.  The sum of all fears is irrational if you want to live a life free from anxiety.  Facing what is real, as opposed to illusory is too unsettling for most people to consider.  It’s much better to go with the flow and place your trust in the leaders that secure our way of life.

Wall Street Reaps Big Bucks from the Wind

The latest rage out of the boiler room sharks that hawk new equity issues touts alternative energy.  The hype that is coming out of Wall Street resembles the internet band wagon before the bust.  Investors are getting calls from brokers about unit trusts, mutual funds and hot shares.  Goldman Sachs rushes to finance the offers with their expertise – using other peoples’ money.  And why not when the taxpayer is being used as the patsy to subsidize the greed and insatiable appetite of the vultures that swarm around looking for an easy meal.
