No Labels = the Ignorant Middle

The American electorate seldom demonstrates an ability to resist the appeals of slick marketing and charlatan candidates. The "so called" swing vote is the battleground where every election is fought. View the vast middle as the ill-equipped idiots that continually waste their vote on establishment surrogates who always protest the corporate/state as their primary campaign pledge. They spin it with charming platitudes, but in the end, they shield their corporate masters.

Pride in America the Stupid

Anyone who has ever injected politics into a discussion knows that it guarantees controversial discourse. People agree on very little, these days. It was not always that way. Once upon a time, there was a basic consensus on fundamental core worldviews. God was revered, natural law was accepted and tyranny was despised. Now, we live in perpetual chaos after burying the Almighty, discarding traditional values and tolerating permanent despotism. What remains is politics conducted as a fantasy sport game. Avoidance of reality is the source of national pride.

The march into internment advances

The past year 2004 started off as a time to go fishing and ends in a tsunami wave of calamity. The relief efforts are portrayed as assistance after the effect of a natural disaster, but the real story for the year is the onslaught of refugee  camps of a very different kind. The condition of the globe is much more at risk from political discord than from an environmental catastrophe. If the planet can rally to aid the suffering from the wrath of mother nature, why is it virtually impossible to resolve the differences from man made conflicts?

Is the Whole World Wrong?

If you listen to the mainstream media their reports say that the White House respects the democratic rights of people around the world to demonstrate. Do you believe that to be the case? Has there ever been a more striking example where the United States has rammed a more contested policy down the throats of the rest of the world? Preemptive invasion just doesn’t seem to be playing to standing applause, if you ask the throngs that are marching around the globe. For most of the world, Iraq is not an imminent problem and disarming Saddam Hussein is not a primary objective. Thugs and villains abound, what makes him the inborn enemy that demands immediate, decisive and definitive removal?  What rational person can reasonably assert that Iraq is the indisputable focus of undeviating evil in the world? Has Iraq changed that much since they were the agent and cohort of the United States during their war against Iran?

Alas, a Democrat to Support!

Even those Americans who proudly wear the label Democrat, must be a little embarrassed with the “Know Nothing” candidates that are seeking the chance to run against the Crawford Shrub. The seven dwarfs from another race have been vindicated, there are worse presidential aspirants. No amazement from the party of sanctified socialism, government is your friend policies is the stuff that built the company of commissars. What is strange is that one the last remnants of old time conservative solid south politics lives. While not from the region, the Populist message rings from behind bars that separates most constituents from real representation. No it’s not Gore in 2004 that is speaking.

Democratic Socialists vs. America First Populists

How many times do you have to hear that going off the financial cliff is a failure of controlling spending as opposed to a lack of revenue? Systemic deficits exist because government is too big, not because taxpayers are not paying their fair share. This assessment is sacrilege to the Democratic Socialists who make up both political parties. The "so called" debate over cutting back the growth in budgetary increases is void of any real substance or focus. The basic reason that the federal government leviathan instills mass hysteria and fear about cutting back on social welfare programs is that the system preaches a false egalitarian and utopia deliverance from reality.

Wealth Destruction for the 99.9 Percent

Blaming the 1% for diminished prosperity avoids the real reasons for designed poverty. In round terms, the seven billion souls that populate this planet translate into seventy million to be part of the 1%. Well, that amount is still a very large number to blame for the systemic transfer of riches into the hands of the few. A far more relevant approach is to examine the .001% or around seven million that fall into the mover or shakers of asset and possessions. Before targeting this group of mega wealth, that figure includes a very significant number, who are non players when it comes to global politics or transnational finance.

The Actor and Clown Culture

When thespians become caricatures of a popular culture that accelerates the demise of civilization, the routine loses all comic relief. The dramaturge of classic theater, relegated to the standing room galley or the cheap seats, creates a void in context and meaning. Today the promenade of audience interaction merges with the performance of a surreal life play. Looking into the rabbit hole applauds an adventure in the wonderland of narcissism by adopting the cult of celebrity.

The Plan - Apartheid Wall

By now you must have seen the size of this gader hafradeh ("separation fence"). According to Nigel Parry on The Electronic Intifada: "Israel's Separation Barrier, dubbed the "Apartheid Wall" or "Berlin Wall" by Palestinians, has increasingly attracted international media attention, largely due to the hard-to-ignore scale of the project. The most obvious historical parallel to the barrier is the Berlin Wall, which was 96 miles long (155 kilometers). Israel's barrier, still under construction, is expected to reach at least 403 miles in length (650 kilometers). The average height of the Berlin Wall was 11.8 feet (3.6 metres), compared with the maximum* current height of Israel's Wall -- 25 feet (8 metres)."

Free Trade Area of the Americas

Are you ready for the next trade agreement? Before denouncing all those anarchists for disrupting the peaceful tranquillity of a Miami afternoon, think about all those additional benefits from an entire Western Hemisphere expansion of NAFTA. Go directly to the latest November 21, 2003, third draft of FTAA agreement for proof that America will be restricted from enacting protective measures to stem the hemorrhage of the trade deficit.

Boston Massacre Media Diversion

Only a media masochist can stand watching network and cable TV news. The extent of self-immolation coming out of their broadcasts, have seldom been more vivid, with their bizarre reports on the Boston Marathon bombing. If one did not know better, the comparison with the Marx Brothers antics would have you believe that you have a ringside seat At the Circus. Silly behavior is the mainstay of the mainstream media. Real news investigation has long ago been relegated to the archives of a half century ago, when there was at least a small measure of a healthy distrust of government sources. Today the clowns that act as ventriloquist dummies have more in common with Karl Marx than Groucho.

Prohibition laws and agency regulations

Depending on the longevity of one’s experience, the history of government’s inhumanity to man grows deeper. A person, who has lived through four score and seven years ago, may very well be similar to an individual hearing the Gettysburg Address at the time when Abraham Lincoln originally spoke those words. Eight-seven years is a long time, witnessing the Great Depression, World War II and every succeeding administration, which transformed the country from a Republic, into an Empire. Reflecting on the dramatic departure that took off under Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the course of the federal government has intensified in size and escalated in scope of intrusion.

All out Warfare on Political Correctness

The bastion of Totalitarian Collectivism is based upon a culture of political correctness. Before authoritarians impose their rigid formulas for shaping and defining a false reality, the ground needs to be prepared for molding public opinion. The details and narrative of mind control works best when people have already adopted an urbanity of collective singularity. The nature of “TC” is the next level beyond political correctness.

Is Going Off the Grid Practical?

The technological miracle that transformed the 20th century into an engine of wealth creation was based upon cheap energy. The role of the electric grid cannot be understated when it comes to enhancing the quality of life for the greatest number of people. The advance of civilization often seems to go in reverse gear. However, the innovation of labor saving devices and productive machinery usually rely upon running on the stream from electric generation.

This Prison is Built One Person at a Time

Most people contribute to Aleksander Solzhenitsyn a sense of moral reflection and conscience. In his masterpiece work, the prisoner in the Gulag, faces the stark reality that the powers of forced compliance are capable of the worst degradation and depravity, not only toward the single dissenter, but to all of mankind. While Solzhenitsyn is adept and skilled in literary style and composition, it is the strength in his moral message that separates him from other chroniclers or men of letters. But there was another Russian patriot that had even a more remarkable transition that shared that message of honest outrage towards a State that embodied totalitarian evil. His name was Andrei Sakharov.

What a record to defend!

A little piece of history puts perspective back into politics. Now that the media is telling you John Kerry has topped the polls, you have to wonder what sublime signal they use to direct their opinion captives to speak on cue. Are you surprised with this development or are you fully aware of the brotherhood between him and George W Bush? Both enjoyed resting in the same New Haven coffin; for select Yale “Bulldogs” want to make their bones under the skull of doom . . . What better way to insure the results of a presidential election, while waiting for the Diebold election system to be installed?

Speech Reform Campaign

WOW! It’s like dodging a bullet. Just imagine a political campaign that broadcasts issue ads financed with unregulated donations? Think about it - permitting messages aired 60 days before a general election and 30 days before a primary election if they identify a federal candidate. What’s next - endorsement of specific issues? Aren’t you glad the Supreme Court has seen fit to convene their first special session in 27 years to pronounce from on high the allowable limits of free speech?

New Heights of No Confidence in Government

The legislature is at a record disapproval as Gallup announced that Congress had reached a new low, winning the approval of just 9% of the American public. In addition, President Obama is in the same boat. A Christian Science Monitor reports that Obama disapproval rating hits new high in two polls. "An NBC News/Wall Street Journal survey found that 54 percent of respondents did not approve of the job President Obama is doing, and Quinnipiac found 57 percent disapproval." Both branches of federal government register public discontent.

Rewarding Idiots with Democratic Totalitarianism

Now that the Democrat Party convention concluded their class warfare rally, those with saner minds are left with the task of identifying the magnitude of the sociopathic disease that infects the vast mindset of the worship government sect. The rhetoric of the Left has little trouble with identifying the ills of the world, but when the collectivists start to rattle off their measures to make the world safe for democracy, the ugly fascist face of totalitarianism emerges. The bond among statists, span all ideological spectrums. Commies and Nazis share the same gene. In Amerika, that same defiled DNA proliferates in all the half-wits that still believe that government is or can be a force for good. Essentially, the people are a herd of corruption enablers.

The Meaning of Independence Day

The Fourth of July is a holiday that most Americans celebrate for various reasons.  The festivity may involve family, friends or public gatherings.  Popular culture would have you believe that the gala is a birthday party for the country.  Flags wave, bands march and bystanders cheer.  The parades are pageants, visible spectacles for all to applaud and enjoy.  After the confetti blows away, what is the meaning of the day?  Commemoration of the Declaration of Independence should be the primary reason for the remembrance.  Other than historically conscious traditionalists that understand the nature of the Republic, few perceive the real purpose of the founding of America.

That Republican 2010 Landslide and What It Means

Conventional wisdom has that the Republican Party will kick butt in the midterm elections. Soon the actual results will be posted. Trusting that electronic machines are accurate is totally another matter. What is certain is that incumbents face an uphill battle to retain their privileges. Will it make a meaningful difference if the GOP takes control of the House of Representatives and even the Senate? How many times have you heard this is the most important election ever?
